Linda Sommerville: mezzo soprano now living in Troon, Ayrshire. Over and above her
solo work, Linda has performed ‘part time’ with Borealis on many occasions including
the Mauchline Holy Fair and the ‘Burns an’ a’ that! festival. Her CD ‘A song collection’
features her favourite songs including, of course, some Burns.

Ian Lyell is a fountain of knowledge on 'all things Burns'. He is Honorary President
and past Secretary of Mauchline Burns Club and was Secretary and Treasurer to the
Burns House Museum in Mauchline. He has also made a DVD of Burns in Mauchline. His
self penned Burns related dramatic and comic pieces have been performed to audiences
nationally.

Lorna is a member of the singing group ‘Ayres and Graces’ and has been involved in
countless drama and musical theatre productions in the capacity of both director/producer
and actress.She recently staged a traveling production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’
around the grounds of Culzean Castle in Ayrshire

Andrew Cooper is present Secretary of Mauchline Burns Club. The ‘Address to the Haggis’
is traditionally recited as a toast at Burns Suppers and Andrew has performed this
recitation world wide as his speciality on these occasions.
He can be seen here addressing the world’s largest ever haggis at Mauchline Holy
Fair 2009, as confirmed by Guinness World Records.
